    Essential requeriments:
    • a laptop with a camera or, failing that, a tablet with a camera (if you have an external webcam that sends a higher quality image than the computer's camera, all the better)
    • internet connection
    • a free account on Zoom.us
    • a private space to work in Ideally, we recommend a clear working area of approximately 2 x 2 meters that is within the viewing angle of the camera. Outside that area, you should have some space at least on one side so that you can make exits and entrances into the area (that is, you can "leave camera" at least on one side) . Don’t worry about curtains, sofas, shelves with things on them, etc in the background ... these can often be used advantageously during the workshop ;o)

Listen or die How to fine tune your internal antenna & make your impros look rehearsed.

Active listening is not a skill we are born with, but without a doubt, it’s worth it’s weight in gold when clowning. Clowns who listen to each other nourish each other’s creativity, they respect each other’s rhythms and support each other’s proposals. They can build on what comes up and create a scene that is both logical, seamless and hilarious. And clowns who listen to their audience know when to expand on a proposal, or shorten it, or completely change tack. They are able to rapidly regenerate an interest in their performance and keep their audience continually entertained. In this Masterclass, we’ll look at the reasons you may be failing to listen, the difficulites that prove it, and the ways in which you can up level your capacity to sense, accept and play with everything that occurs.

    • Before the start of the workshop, check that your internet connection works well. Restarting the router by unplugging the power cord for 15 seconds usually increases the speed if you haven't restarted it for a while.
    • Disconnect the Wi-Fi from all your other devices (mobiles, tablets, tv's, etc.)
    • Ask the people who live with you not to use the internet during the workshop hours, especially Netflix, YouTube and the like.

CLOWN CONFLICTS How to get clown mileage from your daily struggles At the heart of every hilarious clown routine lies a conflict: rivalry, misunderstandings, physical ineptitude, invasions of personal space, personality clashes, split emotions, outbursts, competition for the limelight, trouble with the boss, etc. The conflicts clowns struggle with aren't unknown to us, but their attitude towards them, and the playful extremes to which they take them, are certainly less common. As with everything else, clowns add to the mix their enjoyment of the moment. They'll turn any kind of conflict into an opportunity to demonstrate their talent for making things worse before making them better. In this workshop, we'll explore the struggles of our precarious human existence from a clown perspective, highlighting our sublime stupidity and celebrating our incredible inventiveness. Over the course of 4 weeks, you'll be invited to lose control over your vying emotions, sacred notions, unfriendly attitudes, wayward limbs and changeable environment. You'll be guided on how to avoid resolving the conflicts until you've got all the comic mileage out of them you can, and encouraged to find ever more ingenious ways to settle the dispute or conclude the action. This workshop requires a basic level of clown and a willingness to reveal the hilarious truth of your own imperfection and life's complexity.
